SoilTech is a negatively charged polymer blend. It does one thing — it creates connected pore space — and everything good downstream follows from that.
The mechanism
From the jug to the root zone.
In concentrated form, SoilTech’s polymer molecules are tightly coiled and take up very little space. The moment they’re mixed with water and applied, they begin to uncoil, extend, and expand.
1. It carries itself down into the profile
Aided by gravity and its own electrical properties, that molecular expansion drives SoilTech down into the soil, opening pathways as it goes. As it migrates deeper and the molecules keep expanding, it changes the structure and texture of the soil along the way — not just at the surface.
2. It binds fine particles into aggregates
SoilTech forms a sticky, strongly negative-charged film that coats the very fine, dissociated particles of soil and binds them into larger clumps. Those clumps — aggregates — create the connected pore space that lets air and water move freely. Because the fines are pulled into larger, heavier bodies, treated soil also resists erosion and runoff.
3. It dissolves the salts locking up alkaline soils
In high-sodium and saline soils, the polymers’ strong negative charge dissolves the alkaline salts. That lets bicarbonates and sodium leach deep into the profile, well below the root zone — removing them from where roots grow and freeing the soil to rebuild its structure. Functional groups at the tips of the polymer molecules bind alkaline mineral deposits and help break up hardpan layers.
4. It helps nutrients reach the roots
That same negative charge helps positively charged nutrients wick toward plant roots instead of tying them up. Fertility programs work harder, less fertilizer runs off, and less ends up polluting groundwater.
What SoilTech is not: it isn’t a surfactant, a wetting agent, a polyacrylamide, or a soil penetrant. Those give short-term relief without changing soil structure. SoilTech changes the structure itself — which is why the effect compounds year over year.
Safe for turf, plants, and soil life
SoilTech won’t harm vegetation, soil bacteria, or soil organisms, and it won’t burn turf even in hot, dry conditions. It stays in the soil and isn’t absorbed by plant roots or tissue, so it won’t harm flowerbeds, trees, or shrubs. It’s classified as non-hazardous under OSHA 29 CFR 1910.1200.
How long it lasts
A single application maintains performance for roughly five to seven months, sometimes longer depending on soil conditions. But SoilTech isn’t a one-and-done treatment — each yearly application starts from better soil than the last, so results build over time.
